You will select a social and emotional wellbeing policy or guideline(s)/ or intervention that has interested you whilst studying this module. Some examples of these will be provided during the module, with tutorials and seminars to help support your choices. You will identify and critically examine the influencing factors, which are linked to the support of well-being in children.
Using this practical and theoretical material covered in the module you will have developed knowledge and insight to specifically identify: –
The underpinning ideologies, approaches, theoretical, philosophical perspectives and values of the intervention or policy
You will reflect on how this links with ideas of human flourishing and issues related to autonomy, relatedness and competence in childhood and adolescent well-being and flourishing.
