You have been given the raw, unedited multitrack files for a song by a singer-songwriter. You have been asked to arrange the track so that is less than 3.30 and includes a percussive element.

Your mix should fuse the separate elements of the song together coherently, introduce a sense of dynamics and excitement, and produce a high-quality arrangement of the music.

Using everything we have learned so far, experiment with different combinations of tracks/effects and prepare the song for release.

In addition to providing a finished mix of the track, you are also asked to write a formal report which describes the following:-

• Your first impressions of the track
• Your findings and ideas about appropriate mixing techniques while researching this genre of music
• Screenshots of your mix and Edit window
• A clear and concise outline of your intentions, goals, and focal points before approaching the mix
• The editing and mixing process
• A conclusion detailing your experience, difficulties, and thoughts on the project.

What Do I Need to Submit?
