• You are the newly appointed project manager for a newly founded charity organisation named “ Focusbsee” with its headquarters in Galway, Ireland. As the project manager you are asked to ensure the newly hired team have a focus on a National fund raising initiative titled “ Funding for Ireland”. Some of your team have no experience of project management and one of your team members that has experience of project management and is related to the General Manager is causing conflict with other members within the organisation.

Clarity of Explanation to the Background and Context of Project Planning

• As part of the National funding raising initiative you as the Project Manager are asked to draft and present the Project charter capturing the main elements of the Project charter and outline its importance in the funding raising initiative to the Board of Directors .  (Make assumptions as needed)
• Outline your role and key responsibilities as  a Project manager and include the much needed skills you need to ensure all your team has the one focus i.e. “ Funding for Ireland “ initiative?

• Outline your understanding of Conflict Management and Outline your understanding of a Communications plan and its elements
• Outline what is Conflict management and if its not managed effectively what is the impact on your team? Outline what are the management resolution techniques available to you in addressing Conflict issues within your team?
• Why have you selected the management resolution techniques you have and outline their benefits to you as a project manager in addressing the areas of conflict?
• Outline the elements of a Communication plan and its importance in your project ? Draft a sample of a Communications plan for your project (making any assumptions as needed)
• Explanation and understanding of Risk Management process in a project?
• What is Risk Management Strategy? What in your role as a Project Manager are the various Risk Mitigating strategies available to a project manager within a Project?
