What is catechesis why is it important – and what are the central mysteries of our faith that form the content of all catechesis? You will need to explain what faith is, and how we learn about God and his revelation, as well as show that you understand the key doctrines such as the Trinity, sin, and grace; the dignity of the human person; and the Church, as presented in the Creed.

Part B

What would you call your session – what would be your key teaching points – what resources would you use in preparation -which prayers would you use? Do you need any equipment/ handouts etc? How would you include the liturgical year/scripture/ prayer/doctrine/ moral living? Remember the need for catechists to self-evaluate to hone their skills and learn from each experience.
