To identify, review and discuss a key contemporary ethical issue in a country/an industry/ a company/topic within the broad scope of the Ethics module/section; any area of interest within the field will be considered using recent authoritative literature on the issue. Companies covered in the block list will not be permitted so you MUST clear your topic with the lecturer before proceeding.

Obvious companies such as Enron and any similar are excluded. Older issues such as Enron and those other companies will not be permitted. You must search and find cases that are recent and there is a significant amount available. You can also review ethical codes or practices in ethics/ethical behavior and use those as topics. You should not use a governance topic for this CA.

Companies and issues have to be recent or recently in the news or recently updated or moved forward. You can refer to codes/laws/regulations/companies/counties/industries and so on as long as it is recent e.g. within the last 12 months or so – the issue may be going on for years but it has to have some recent update or occurrence to be valid.

• Defining the phenomenon of interest.
• Identifying the opportunities and threats it creates.
• Assessing the likely impact(s) on the individual, organization, and/or society.
• Overcoming the key challenges to be overcome within the next five years and or outlining a model/method/approach/structure/ framework that could be implemented to deal with the issue.
• Broader implications of the issue for the Corporation/Society.
