Concept of employee engagement

Employee engagement is important to enhance the capability of the workforce by directing them to give their best efforts towards the work to fulfill the desired goal of the company. There are a few conventional concepts of employee engagement. According to Delbahari, Soltani& Khorasgani (2019), the Zinger model is the structure that forecasts the relationship which will increase employee engagement and help in employee retention.

Kaur (2017) stated that this model evaluates the employee engagement process that includes an authentic connection of the strategies, performances, roles of the employees, and many more behavioral factors that bring the best result from the side of the employees which makes the organization more powerful and add a competitive advantage to it.

According to Parke et al., (2018), in this model, the manager of a company should focus on the development of himself as well as the employees by crafting proper strategy which includes vigorous planning and various considerations of the requirements of the employees along with the organization.

In order to achieve the highest level of employee engagement, the higher authority needs to pivot on the working strategies and enforce a positive working environment by making the work more interesting for the employees to motivate them to give their best effort. Adawiyahet al. (2020) have stated that the manager or the higher personnel should plan to give live recognition to the employees for their contribution to the company, which will help to satisfy their self-esteem and self-actualization needs, and the company will be benefited from getting the best result from the employees.
