TLI7205 Assessment: Individual coursework

• The report of students should identify recent and/or current issues that the leadership of the chosen organisation has faced and link them to the contents of the module.

• Specifically, the foll owing aspects should be addressed:

— Explore the organisaton’s strategic response to the challenges of digital
transformation and innovation

— Critically discuss how technology‐driven disruption and innovation has shifted the paradigms of leadership for this organisation

— Identify and evaluate the change management approach this organisation uses to drive behavioural change

— Use evidence and examples to support your answer

Common weaknesses

• Providing a description of case events (what happened), but no analysis. Good analysis tells us how or why things happened.

• Since the past matters, students need to know some historical background of the organisation, but is not necessary to include it into the report.

• Making inferences and generalisations without providing data from the case to support generalisations, or without making any references to theory and ideas in the readings. Good presentations use both examples and theory to support the analysis.

• Ignoring theory and simply offering opinions. Good assignments take a set of
theoretical ideas and show how those ideas can be applied to specific aspects of the case.
