• Nathan is a 17-year-old adolescent that lives in Tallaght with his mother and 2 younger sisters. Nathan is doing the leaving cert this year and also has a part-time job in McDonald’s to help his mother out with the bills. In school, Nathan is generally quiet but is liked by teachers and peers and has a close group of 3 male friends.

Nathan has been under a lot of stress this academic year juggling work and study and has stopped going to football practice this year. His friends have grown distant and he is concerned about some weight gain as well His uncle is supportive and has been helping him with honors maths and watching his 2 sisters while he studies as his mom works nights. His mock exams for the leaving cert are coming up soon and he feels unprepared. His sisters are also very proud of him and look up to him and he wants to make them and his mom proud.
