• Locate the relevant required qualifications and steps to appropriate qualifications on the National Framework of Qualifications and on the European Qualifications Framework

Task 1

Explore your options for progressing your education while completing your QQI Level 5 Certificate in Business Studies or QQI level 5 Certificate in Medical Office Administration.  Identify the courses in the area you are interested in.

Write a detailed profile on one course in one of the following:

1. Further Education
2. Higher Education
3. Vocational Training

Task 2

Research at least one career option available after you complete your chosen course. Firstly, identify your career/qualification goals?

• Do a personal timetable to achieve your career/qualification goals.
  * Identify your short-, medium- and long-term career objectives
• Do a written analysis outlining the factors that would enhance or inhibit you from achieving your medium to long-term career objectives. These factors could be economic, social, cultural, educational, and institutional.
