ICMM defines water storage as “A purpose built Structure designed to collect or hold operational water (eg tanks, dams, reservoirs and disused pits). Example ; Either water coming from natural rainfall, runoff, seepage or intentional water storage for treatment, discharge or further use in production (recycled)”.
