Evaluate the effectiveness of either a mitigation measure  for the implementation of a nature-based solution using the format of an annotated photo essay

A photo essay is usually one where images are used to tell a story. Photo essays include several images which are the main method of communication. An annotated photo essay is one where additional information is added to enrich the learning experience of the reader in terms of the use of each image.

Outcomes:

• To use images effectively and appropriately to tell a story. You will be able to assess the role, evidence base, and value of either a mitigation measure or a nature-based measure.
• Describe the measures taken to manage biodiversity impacts arising from
  development/human impacts OR through the use of a nature-based solution.
• Evaluate the strength/robustness of the emerging literature.
• Assess to what extent these measures are effective – referring to the “evidence base”  and on-the-ground practices.
• Identify gaps in our knowledge and make recommendations for further research/practice.
