3. Create a concrete teaching resource from materials in your home to support the teaching of this aim. Provide photograph evidence (3 – 5 photographs) of the process from beginning to completion.

4. Create a lesson plan to incorporate the use of the concrete teaching resource.

When creating your resource; ask yourself the following questions:
• Does it address the content objective I am trying to teach?
• Is the resource free of bias?
• Is the resource free of negative stereotyping?
• Is the resource inclusive of the children in your school?
• Is the resource age-appropriate? (SPHE Teacher Guidelines, 1999, p. 103)

Part Two: Record a Zoom Lesson 

1. Record your lesson on Zoom using the lesson plan and concrete resources that you created in Part One.

2. Using your lesson plan and concrete resource, create a PowerPoint slideshow of 8-10 slides.

3. The PowerPoint presentation of 8-10 slides should follow the structure of your lesson plan. You can use photographs of your resource as well as additional images and text to enhance your lesson. Reference any additional material (e.g., images) in the ‘notes’ of the slide using the Hibernia College Harvard referencing guide.

4. Record the oral presentation on Zoom Cloud (maximum of 10 minutes in total). Remember that your audience should be the class level that you have selected. Imagine that you are sending this lesson to the class to watch.
