the obligation of the researcher to guarantee unequivocally individual privacy, and an informed willingness on the part of the subject to participate voluntarily in the research activity.

Certainly no person should be asked to cooperate in any research that might result in a sense of self-denigration, embarrassment or a violation of ethical or moral standards or principles.
