Describe issues such as incidence, causes, and the efficacy of different therapeutic approaches with the chosen client cohort should be considered and critiqued. Drawing on theoretical and research evidence in the integrative and wider counseling fields, carry out a review of research comparing and contrasting different clinical approaches – the 2 main approaches to consider are person-centered therapy and choice theory/reality therapy. Link relevant theories and research to the approach to the eating disorder bulimia in a “real world” situation.
