PM Deliverables:
- Coordinate activities associated with the leasing and installation of the RVM’s(e.g. connections to electrical sockets, data points, CCTV positioning)
- Draft and finalize procedures for equipment use (include risk assessments for equipment use)
- Generate a scoring list of potential vendors (system suitability, lead time, cost, ability to provide service contract post-installation)
- Identify all cost elements of the project and ensure formal corporate approval before commencing
- Modification to existing store layout to ensure suitability for the RVM’s
- Provide weekly updates in the form of a Highlight report to the project sponsor and stakeholders via email.
- Handover of equipment to Store Manager upon project completion (instructional documentation, equipment procedures)
Client Deliverables:
- Timely approval of potential vendors
- Respond on time to queries regarding equipment requirements during the selection process or issues as they arise (within 48 hours)
- Prepare for delivery of RVM’s to stores, space, and connection points made available for the RVM’s to be installed outside store opening hours.

Project Assumptions
The project management plan is based on the following assumptions:
- RVM’s will be available as an off the shelf item
- Lead time for the RVM’S will be 12 weeks
- No major restructuring works in the stores will be required for the installation
- Access to the stores will not be restricted during installation
- Adequate response times from allocated personnel from various departments
- Risks relating to Covid-19 are addressed in ABCO’s Covid-19 policy as ABCO is designated essential status, limited impact to the project is expected.
Exclusions
This project management plan is based on the following exclusions which are not included in the scope of this project:
Major modification to walls or floors within the stores
Additional functionality of the RVM’s outside of the scope of this project
Preventative maintenance schedule and service contract with vendor (ownership to transfer to Store Operations Department during handover.
