Section A: Pre-Planning:
- Consideration of the group profile, group needs, and orientation, possible challenges
- Observations and questions that are important to consider in running a session for the particular target group/individual
- Additional factors you considered in your pre-session planning
Section B: Intervention
- Workshop description: (A brief Summary i.e. group, location, etc.)
- Objectives: (Clear understanding of overall objectives and rationale for the group)
- Agenda and Activities: Include a detailed step-by-step description of the intervention which includes two creative art forms. Theoretical justification must be provided as to why this approach will meet the needs of the group
Section C: Evaluation
- Identify how the intervention will be evaluated
- How did the group/individual respond
- Were there goals and objectives met or could you identify new goals or what were the challenges or emerging issues during the sessions?
Section D: Modification
In this section you need to consider and justify using literature how you would modify the intervention to accommodate one of the following scenarios:
- a) Intervention needs to go online due to covid restrictions.
- b) Intervention is to be offered to a group of people with either physical or intellectual disability (if the original group is not intended for people with physical or intellectual disability)
- c) Original budget for intervention has been reduced.
Section E: Reflection
Offer a reflection on what you learned from planning an intervention and consider how it will help improve your professional practice
Part 2: Poster Presentation
Design a poster that explains the intervention detailed in the section above.
This poster can be made using word/PowerPoint/publisher or Canva/ pic monkey (free apps to design posters etc) and saved as a pdf for presentation in class on the last night.
