You are employed by a design consultancy office and have been asked to report on 3 new projects for 3 separate clients within the firm. You must prepare a single report for senior management recommending suitable procurement strategies for each of the projects (within one report).
Suggest and justify recommendations for a basic procurement route AND a potential suitable form of contract for the successful delivery of each of the following projects: 1. A Water Treatment Plant for Uisce Eireann.
2. A Single Residential House for a Private Client who have a tight budget and long list of design requirements but are not constrained by time.
3. A 10 turbine Wind Farm for a Private Client who would prefer to have limited input on the project.
You should recommend a procurement route for each of 1, 2 and 3 above and provide a reasoned argument to justify your recommendation.
Your submission should follow a professional report layout and should contain a cover, contents, clearly identifiable sections, an introduction, a body and a conclusion. The length of the submission/report must be circa 2,500 words.
