The student is required to carry out a child study of a child who is currently going through the implementation process of an individual education plan (IEP) in place.

How is the curriculum adapted to ensure that the goals/targets of the IEP is reached – how is this seen in reality for your study child

Use the documents above to define the purpose of assessment formal (assessment of need) and informal and then how was this process for your study child.

If the school/parent will let you have copy of this, then blank out all identifying information and place in the appendix

If you are not given access to this document, then state this – Due to Data Protection the school did not grant me access to the child’s IEP therefore I will place a sample in the appendix

This information will be gained from the child’s assessment report, if this is not available to you then get this information from the child’s parent, teacher or SNA
