Clinical Case Discussion Assignment:

Building upon the portfolio completed in the Professional Skills module, learners will complete a clinical assignment that opens with a demonstration of appropriate assessment, involving both qualitative and quantitative data. The work will include a considered case formulation, rooted in the gathered data.

Learners will then showcase how they selected and applied appropriate interventions from a range of routine and specialized counseling and psychotherapeutic skills, and provide an evidence-based rationale for the selection. Sample anonymized case notes should be included, showcasing professional skills in recording therapy activities. In the final section, learners must bring this case to group supervision, and in the assignment, reflect on how they used IPR, supervision, and deliberate practice to enhance their work.
