Assignment on:-  Impact of mental health and wellbeing of visually impaired in Ireland

1. I would like to look at the impact of mental health and wellbeing of visually impaired in Ireland and to find out why they feel isolated?
2. To prove better transport infrastructure would improve the mental health of visually impaired in Ireland.
3. Are they getting the job opportunities that they are entitled to?
4. Are they getting the educational opportunities they are entitled to?
5. How does my experience relate to the data collected in my research?

I am involved in a personal capacity in this issue.

I am interested in this area as I want to see if the fact that in some areas in Ireland doesn’t have a great transport system and I want to find out if this affects the mental health of people with visual impairments.

I also want to find out why people with visual impairments feel isolated when they can’t get out and travel to the services that they need to attend as the transport they need doesn’t always work

I want to look at why people with visual impairment feel isolated because of where they live and what kind of housing they live in.

I want to see if the transport system was better if more people with visual impairments would attend college or be at work.
