Present the summary of the most important criminological points of the theory. Be only as complex as necessary. If the theory is not primarily criminological one focus only on aspects that have direct criminological significance.

2. The historical context within which the criminological theory was produced:

Discuss the historical and social environment in which the criminological theory was developed. Tierney is quite good at doing this in his chapters and could be used as a model for what needs to be discussed.
