2. From the information provided in the source documents, write up the daybooks for the month of December:

▪ Sales Returns Daybook
▪ Purchases Day Book
▪ Purchases Returns Daybook
▪ Receipts Daybook
▪ Payments Daybook
▪ Petty Cash Book
3. Post the entries from the Daybooks to the relevant Ledgers accounts after entering the opening balances from the Trial Balance.
4. Extract a Trial Balance as at 31 December 2020.
5. Prepare the Bank Reconciliation for Reflections Salon Ltd.
6. Having completed the Trial Balance and Bank Reconciliation you are made aware of the
following errors not revealed by the Trial Balance:
i) The Sales invoice of net of €420 for Mistique Salon was written in the accounts as net of €440 in error. Recalculate the vat at 21%.
ii) An invoice on the 30th of December for credit sales of hair equipment to Unique Creations was omitted from the books. Invoice number 1364, Net amount: €150 Vat: €31.50 Total: €181.50.
iii) A Cheque written on the 19th of December was written off the amount owed by us to our electricity supplier Eir Ltd but should have been written off the amount owed by Beauty Warehouse Ltd Correct the above errors in the accounts, using entries in the Daybooks and Ledgers. Update the Trial Balance to reflect changes.
7. Prepare an Accounts Receivable Control Account and reconcile the control account with the individual balances in the Accounts Receivable ledger.
8. Prepare an Accounts Payable Control account and reconcile the control account with the individual balances in the Accounts Payable ledger.
9. Extract the required vat details and complete the Vat Summary.
10. Complete the Vat 3 return form provided with the information from your vat return (vat summary). The VAT Payable for November 2020 was €344, which represents VAT on Sales of €760 and VAT on Purchases of €416.
