Instructions for Completing the Workbook

An assignment is an exercise carried out in response to a brief with specific guidelines as to what should be included. An assignment is usually of short duration and may be carried out over a specified period of time.

1. Fill in your name and details on the Title Page.

2. Type your name in the Plagiarism Declaration and this will be accepted as your digital signature. By signing it, you are stating that you will only use your independent work and will acknowledge if you use anyone else’s work. Plagiarism means using the work of another person and not giving them the credit. In a practical sense, you must quote the
work or research of another person by referencing the person’s name using the Harvard referencing system, where possible.

3. Read through the full workbook and every question carefully before beginning to answer.

4. Where possible, use examples from work experience to support your answers. In cases where you do not have anything relevant, demonstrate your understanding by giving an example of something from personal experience with the area of your course or what you think a potential experience might be.
