The purpose of this essay is to encourage students to engage with the critical issues in managing the employment relationship from a Human Resource Management perspective. As a leader how would knowledge of HRM enhance a leader’s managerial knowledge and competence in developing their organisation? [*Note: Elements of organisation development include such areas as organisational culture, capability, values and relationships. ]
