Infection Prevention and Control and Health and Safety in the Dental Surgery, Assignment UCC

Students are required to submit the following written assignment, which should display a competent understanding of Infection Prevention and Control and Health and Safety in dental surgery. This document should demonstrate that the student has researched and referenced the topics adequately using the Harvard Referencing style.

Students must get a pass result (50%) in the written assignment. If this is not achieved, students will be required to revise and resubmit the written assignment on a date specified by the Dental Nurse Tutor.

The assignment is a compulsory component for the successful completion of the program.

The written assignment must be completed and submitted electronically to Canvas module DN1016 on the specified dates contained in your deadline document.

Submission:

The assignment must be completed and submitted electronically to module DN1016 in Canvas with a scanned copy of your completed and signed Declaration of Academic Integrity form.

Marks will be deducted for late submissions:

Assignments submitted up to and including 7 days late, 10% of the total marks available shall be deducted from the mark achieved. 

Assignments submitted up to an including 14 days late, 20% of the total marks available shall be deducted from the mark achieved.
