In early 2016 they discovered, under a newly developed test, that the steel they used for the fuel tank was too weak and could potentially cause a fire if the car were involved in an accident. Fearing the impact that this information may have on sales of ‘Inferno’, Gogo Ltd decided not to release the information to purchasers of the car.
