technological oriented strategy without losing the human touch in the Banogue hotels. In this repo new have been asked to investigate 2 technologies that you feel can best be used in the hat hotels without losing the human touch. You have also been asked not to focus on what is currently happening in Irish hotels, but on the most innovative potential developments and Ireland and globally that can be implemented in the future. You have to do research a express your perspective, focusing on the value for hotels and their guests for the following five years. The report should outline in detail the technologies You are proposing, not just focus on the technological elements, but also address the following elements relating to each proposed technology and its implementation:

• What are the impacts and potential benefits/opportunities of the technology that you are proposing to use?

• What are the threats and potential issues with the proposed technology, how can these issues be potentially addressed.

• How can this technology be used to run the new hotels more efficiently.

• How can this technology be used to change guests’ or employees’ behaviour?

• The report should outline how each of your proposed technologies will get high tech back to high touch. For example can the support of the reception staff using technology result in a stronger interaction with guests than in the past.

You should write this assignment in the form of a fully referenced report. To this end assume that you are writing for the senior management team of the hotel group and that you are writing a report on the two most innovative technologies that you feel will cover the brief. Under each of the technologies that you choose you should describe the technology in detail and its use in a hotel and also address each of the bullet points listed above.
