The Director of your company has asked you to prepare a Sustainable Waste Management Audit of your company. You should undertake a review of work practices in the organisation as well as undertaking a waste management audit of the waste generated across the organisation.
Outline in a short report:
a) The approach and process you underwent to carry out your sustainable waste management audit including any preparatory work in advance and include photos.
b) Your key findings (illustrated in graphs). Please comment of levels of segregation or whether there was contamination of waste streams, or any unusual practices that require follow-up.
c) Outline an improvement plan that contributes to the Circular Economy.
➢As part of this, you should identify at least two recommendations/opportunities to design out waste (prevention) that could be implemented across the organisation, as well as suggestions on how they might be rolled out.
➢You should also make recommendations on Mixed Dry Recyclables, Municipal Solid Waste and Food Waste.
