A pump (G-105) feeds R-101 continuously with the substrate a mix of sewage and poultry manure, constantly stirred to keep it homogenous. R-101 is heated to the operating temperature by hot water produced in the CHP unit. Biogas produced is collected in the top part (the gasometer) and exits from a top pipe, going to the filter F-201, to the chiller E-301, and finally to the CHP unit. An overflow pipe leads the digestate out of R-101 to a storage tank.
