Assignment:
The core principles underpinning Social Care Work include respect for the dignity of clients; social justice; and empowerment of clients to achieve their full potential (Social Care Ireland,2021).
Considering the above discuss how to ensure core principles are adhered to when working with a client experiencing bereavement and has a history of addiction.
Criteria:
• Chose a client group and identify the issues that client may experience
• Show an in depth understanding of relevant theory (bereavement and addiction) to explain client’s behaviour
• Discuss how social care worker maintains principles in practice and the importance of multidisciplinary work
• Ensure research literature is used to justify discussion
