Global Supply Chain Management
The aim of the module is to allow the student to develop an appreciation of the issues to be addressed when dealing with the complexities of managing global supply chains.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of these modules the learner should be able to:
Global Logistics:
1. Summarise the forces of globalization and assess how these impact the firm’s supply chain and distribution channel.
2. Assess and critique the various views on supply chain risk, vulnerability, agility and sustainability and devise strategies to deal with these.
3. Explain and apply the SCOR model to the design of internal and external supply chain configurations and performance measurements.
