B) discuss the major themes of child development: (1) nature-nurture debate; (2) the significance of socio-cultural context; (3) the holistic approach to children’s development;

(4) play and learning, and how they inform understanding of child development and ECE practice;

C) explain developmental domains, focusing on physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language acquisition, and their implications on designing and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experience for children;
