Instructions
You will demonstrate in your assignment the application and integration of appropriate and relevant course theory, concepts, frameworks, methods, and processes from your lectures and practicals. In addition, you are expected to integrate your own researched material into the topics from course texts and web sources and demonstrate your critical thinking and analytical abilities in the conduction of this project. Your report must be well-written, researched, presented, correctly cited, and referenced.
Access to all legitimate sources of information including module learning materials and student notes, with the exception of external help of any kind, is permitted for the purposes of this assessment.
In assignments like this, not all of the information is readily available to us. Therefore, it may be necessary for you to make assumptions. So long as these are rational, state such assumptions (e.g., these can be entered as footnotes
Word Count: The report should be not less than 2500 words and no more than 3000 words. Use your word count wisely. Words in the table of contents, section headings, legends, diagrams, footnotes, appendices, references, and tables do not form part of the word count per section.
Format: Use tables, and footnotes and illustrate your answers using graphics that were relevant and appropriate to support your answers.
References & Citing
Use between 15 and 20 reference sources. Some referencing must cite frameworks and concepts from your lectures that you are integrating into your answers. It is expected that at least 60-70% will be from additional researched sources. These sources may include textbooks, electronic journals/articles, official reports, reputable websites (do not use unreliable or unverifiable sources e.g., wikis), etc. You may cite information from a reference source one or more times in your report – where relevant and appropriate.
Only use the Harvard reference system provided and only include reference sources that you have also cited in the text. A presentation is also available to you on how to correctly reference, cite and quote.
Presentation
Good presentation skills, including structure, formatting, writing, and grammar are important skills for success in business. Organize all sections as a report in WORD according to the numbering and organization format for Reports (i.e., you are not to use an Essay format) using the Sch. of Business Style Guide (on Sharepoint). Be creative, integrate tables, and illustrate your answers using graphics were and if relevant and appropriate to support your answers.
Plagiarism
Cite and reference all sources of material. Plagiarism is a serious offense and can result in disciplinary procedures being enacted against the student.
Do not copy and paste work from another author or self-plagiarise (copying your own work previously submitted to this or any other institute). All student submissions will be thoroughly screened by anti-plagiarism software.
