The FAI’s (Football Association of Ireland) recent governance issues have been reported extensively by various media sources i.e. television, newspapers, radio, digital media.

Discuss the effectiveness of the FAI’s crisis response measures with reference to the crisis management and crisis response theories studied in class. Your discussion should be structured as follows:

1. An introduction to the elements of crisis management theory and crisis response theory.

2. Using your chosen crisis management theory, conduct a review of the media coverage regarding the effectiveness of the FAI’s crisis response. You should include cited extracts from the various media sources you chose to explain your points.
