 Assignment Guidelines:  

For this assignment, you are asked to complete the following:  

 “Critical thinking (CT) is a metacognitive process, consisting of a number of skills and dispositions that through purposeful, reflective judgment, increases the chances of producing a logical conclusion to an argument or solution to a problem. While a large body of research has focused on the advancement of CT skills, less has focused on advancing CT disposition. Critically reflect on and evaluate the manner in which staff in your institution might work to facilitate the advancement of disposition towards critical thinking. Based on further reflection, develop a solution strategy to solve the problems identified in your evaluation, through the identification of specific sub-problems and sub-goals and how you would delegate action based on your strategy.

Critical Evaluation

The critical evaluation should make reference to existing practices (and specific problems you have identified) with respect to leadership, communication, and potential organizational hierarchy. The solution strategy should explain key concepts; identify sub-problems and sub-goals; and how relevant action should be delegated to see that the overall solution is implemented.
